SEPTEMBER 4, 2026 "RECOVERY IS THE NEW FLEX!" 55. Strong. Glowing. Healing.
I recently posted a few pictures on social media, and the comments had me blushing like a teenager. One of my high school classmates to say I’m still “High School FINE!” And another joked, “It’s not fair that you’re aging backward! What’s your secret?”
Then after appearing on my BFF’s Successful, Beautiful &… podcast—baby, my timeline and inbox exploded with questions!
“Are you married?”
“What do you use on your skin?”
“You’re glowing!”
“I wish I had arms and shoulders like yours!”
Flattering? Absolutely. But here is the truth: There is no secret—and I DON’T GATEKEEP!
I share and teach everything I do on social media, every day and most of it is available at Tadda’s Fitness Center. The real difference is consistency.
Trying something once is an experience. Doing it consistently becomes a lifestyle.
My Personal Wellness Blueprint
- Vitamin B12
I have been giving myself vitamin B12 injections since 2009. B12 supports normal energy metabolism and red blood cell production and can be especially important when someone is deficient.
When I became severely anemic in 2016, my hematologist said it helped save my life. I’ve taken my wellness seriously ever since.
- Glutathione, NAD+ and L-Arginine
Glutathione, NAD+ and L-arginine are also part of my weekly routine personal wellness regimen. After appropriate screening, I receive them weekly by injection—or by IV when another nurse is available. I affectionately call this part of my “fountain-of-youth routine.” It is not magic, but it is one piece of my larger commitment to taking care of myself.
L-arginine helps the body produce nitric oxide, which may support healthy circulation and blood flow to working muscles.
Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant naturally produced throughout the body, with the liver playing an important role. It supports the body’s antioxidant defenses and helps protect cells from oxidative stress. It is often called the body’s “master antioxidant,” and I love the glow I see in my skin!
NAD+ is an essential coenzyme involved in cellular energy production. NAD+ wellness services are often used with goals such as supporting energy, mental clarity and healthy aging. For me, it is another consistent part of my personal wellness routine.
TFC offers discounted packages to help make consistent care more affordable.
- Hydration, Hydration, Hydration!
I cannot say enough about staying hydrated!
Every morning, before I even get out of bed, I drink room-temperature alkaline water with lemon. I also keep alkaline water in my car so I can stay hydrated while driving to and from work.
TFC offers UNLIMITED alkaline water for only $20 per month, making it easier to keep yourself and your family hydrated. Alkaline water is also included in several of our wellness packages.
Hydration is a habit!
Intentional Recovery
People tell me every day about an ache, pain or strain. My first questions are usually:
“Have you soaked in Epsom salt?” “Have you tried ice or cold therapy when appropriate?” “What have you done to help your body recover?”
I regularly use our TENS unit on my shoulders, knee or any area that needs attention. You may even see me walking around the gym wearing it! I also use the massage gun, compression therapy, ice therapy and other recovery tools to relieve tension and support muscle recovery.
Recovery is not laziness. It’s part of the work!
- Exercise and Stress Management
Of course, I exercise! Movement helps me maintain my strength, mobility and confidence while relieving stress.
Stress can affect how we feel, function and even how we age. So I manage mine by, teaching Bootcamp, taking classes and training with a personal trainer.
Even the trainer needs a trainer!
- Protein and Muscle Maintenance
Protein becomes even more important as we age because it helps us maintain and build muscle.
Our café shakes contain 40 grams of protein, and I also offer grocery-shopping tours and meal plans that teach clients how to add quality protein to their daily meals.
During midpoint testing, some participants discovered that they had lost muscle. When they looked back through their booklets, what did they see written repeatedly? My constant urging to INCREASE YOUR PROTEIN!
You cannot ask your body to build muscle without consistently giving it the materials it needs.
- Red Light and Near-Infrared Therapy
My newest baby—and one of my favorite forms of self-care—is our medical-grade, full-body red light and near-infrared therapy!
After only a few sessions, I personally noticed changes in the appearance of my skin, that my keloid scar from abdominal surgery appeared smaller and that I had less discomfort in my injured knee.
I believe the combination of ice therapy, red light and NIR therapy has supported my personal recovery. These are my individual results—not a promise that everyone will have the same experience—but I know what I have noticed in my own body!
The “Tadda” Blueprint!
I exercise.
I recover.
I hydrate.
I prioritize protein, eat 90% healthy.
I manage stress.
I use wellness services consistently.
Most importantly, I do not wait until my body breaks down to start caring for it.
TFC truly is a one‑stop shop—and the proof is in the process, the products, the services and the consistency. And baby, the proof is standing right here: 55, strong, glowing, healing and still “High School FINE.”
