FEBRUARY 15, 2026 "THE RESET BEFORE THE SETUP!"
Relay Day was full of energy, laughter, and competition the kind of day that reminds me why I love what we do at TFC. During the third event, I stepped in to demonstrate a simple run, something I’ve done a million times. But in one unexpected moment, my leg hyperextended, and I immediately felt that something wasn’t right.
I crawled to the side, iced it, elevated my leg nurse mode activated. Even in severe pain, I kept the show going, cheering on every team, because leadership doesn’t stop when life gets uncomfortable.
After seeking professional care, it’s confirmed: a strained hamstring. Recovery will be ongoing, and adjustments will have to be made.
And yes the timing could make someone ask, “Why me?”
- Final week of Bootcamp with all the responsibilites of closing a bootcamp out.
- My mother’s birthday trip with family.
- My own 55th birthday right around the corner.
- Plans, celebrations, movement… and now a reminder to slow down.
But my mindset has never been “Why me?”
My mindset is always “Thank you, God.”
Because setbacks are not punishment.
Setbacks are preparation for the set up!
This moment is another opportunity to witness how God shows up in my life through patience, through people, and through perspective. It reminds me to appreciate what my body can do, the community around me, and the purpose behind every challenge.
SETBACKS ARE NOT FAILURES — THEY ARE RESETS
At TFC, we talk about growth all the time. Growth doesn’t just happen when you’re winning. Growth happens when you’re forced to pause, pivot, and listen.
Accidents and injuries are part of living an active life. The real question is:
👉 Will you live in the trauma forever?
👉 Will you learn from the experience?
👉 Will you be compliant with your healing process?
As a nurse, I know recovery requires discipline rest, treatment, patience, and faith. As a coach, I know setbacks can either break your spirit or build your resilience.
For me, this is a reset for the setup a reminder that strength isn’t only about pushing hard; sometimes it’s about allowing yourself to heal.
WHAT I WANT YOU TO TAKE FROM THIS
As we close out Week Six, I want every member of Team Tadda to remember:
- Your journey will not be perfect.
- Your body will speak listen before it has to scream.
- Progress isn’t canceled because of a pause.
- Gratitude shifts everything.
We don’t control every moment, but we control our mindset.
And here’s the truth: even in injury, even in adjustment, even in slowing down there is still purpose.
So as you finish this Bootcamp strong, carry this with you:
✨ Setbacks don’t stop the story.
✨ They strengthen the testimony.
✨ And sometimes, they are simply God reminding you to reset before your next level.
Thank you for rocking with me, loving on me, and continuing to show up because that’s what we do at TFC.
No Mess. Just Growth. 💜
— Fit Nurse Tadda
