November 9, 2025 "Conquer Your HILL!"
You know that moment during a run when the path tilts upward? Your heart pounds harder. Your breath gets louder. And every voice in your head starts negotiating:
“Just walk for a second…”
“You’re tired…”
“This hill is too steep…”
But here’s the truth: The hill isn’t the problem. The hill is the transformation. Hills expose your strength. Hills reveal your consistency. Hills show you exactly what you’re made of. Anyone can run on flat ground. But growth lives in the incline.
In life, your hill might not be a literal hill. It might be:
• Sugar cravings
• Waking up at 4:00 AM when your bed feels extra comfortable
• Choosing water instead of soda
• Meal prepping when “grab something quick” sounds easier
• Finishing 6-weeks strong when motivation is fading
Your hill is the moment you choose discipline over desire.
Don’t avoid the hill. Attack it. Own it. Conquer it. Because when you reach the top breathless, sweaty, stronger than yesterday you’ll realize the hill didn’t defeat you. It revealed you!
ACTION CHALLENGE
Find your hill and face it. Pick one challenge you’ve been avoiding and commit to conquering it this week. Examples:
• Log your meals every day
• Drink half your body weight in ounces of water
• Increase your weights by 5–10 lbs
• Add an extra cardio session
Write it down. Put it on your mirror. Say it out loud: “This week, I take the hill.”
FITNESS TIP When you feel like stopping, don't look up at how far you have left ..look back at how far you’ve already come.
