September 21, 2024 “Inhale Confidence, Exhale Comfort”
Last week we launched another addition to Tadda’s Fitness Center to enhance our wellness. And since our 2-day launch, I have been receiving raving testimonials. One, for example, was a client who left out of a fitness class complaining of her asthma acting up. She went to get her inhaler however it was out. She went to get her backup inhaler, and it was also out as well. Now, as the client was getting more anxious one of my front desk staff, Marica suggested she try the oxygen bar and within 5 minutes of being on the lavender oxygen therapy the client felt immediate relief. The treatment was so beneficial she did it again the next day.
So, you ask…Tadda what is an Oxygen bar and what are some of the benefits.
Juice Bar, Wine Bars, Coffee Bars and now Oxygen Bars? Yep, they are popping up all over the U.S as well as Canada and Japan, where the craze is thought to have begun because of the serious air pollution there. Oxygen bars can also be found in malls, casinos, and nightclubs. These “bars” serve purified oxygen, often infused with aromatherapy scents or nothing at all. The oxygen is administered into your nostrils through a flexible nasal cannula tube.
When you visit an oxygen bar, you receive a supply of supplementary oxygen that is as much as 99% pure oxygen. When compared to the natural air that you breathe, which contains significantly lower oxygen levels, oxygen bars give your body a boost of oxygen that it wouldn’t normally get. This boost of oxygen allows your body to relax and charge up more in ways that you just can’t get from other methods of rest and recovery. These are some of the incredible health benefits of oxygen bars:
Proponents of oxygen “therapy” suggests it boosts energy levels, increase endurance during exercise, helps you bounce back more quickly from physical exertion and injury, provides relief from stress and pollution, helps with altitude sickness, increases your concentration, helps you relax and eases headaches and hangovers
