Take a Bow

YOU DID IT!!! You survived another week, month or year of fitness. What a great achievement? Yes, it is a great achievement no matter if you met all of your goals or not. The fact that you kept pushing on day after day and complete a goal is truly a testament of your strength and abilities. Take in this accomplishment and take a bow, you deserve it. I know some may feel they have not reached their goal or they did not do all the runs or exercises, but I always remind the members of TFC that you did more than you had done before you started getting back into fitness, and thus you are moving in the right direction. The challenge is to remember that we must take small steps before we can run and that is a true statement with anything we do.

It is so important that we recognize every accomplishment that we achieve in our lives because life can be difficult at times and these special moments make it all worthwhile. I remember as a child, my mom getting excited over every little thing that I accomplished from learning to riding a bike, going to school without crying (I was a big cry baby) or to getting a ribbon for my science project. Once I saw her excitement and the feeling of joy, I knew I could do anything and I was able to move on to my next adventure. We all need that acknowledgement of a job well done. It helps us stay on task and makes the journey so much easier with all the bumps in the road, that we are certain to experience . That is why I am always encouraging all of my members in every exercise and experience at TFC. I love talking a client into taking their first spin or yoga class and seeing a smile on their face after they finish and sign up for more. I know how important it is to continuously encourage and motivate people in everyday life.

If you know that you did more than you have in the past, take a bow. If you made healthier food choices, take a bow. If you got up and came to class even when you did not want to, take a bow. I want you to know that I am proud of you and appreciate all the hard work that you have put in. You are a star. Take a Bow. Can I get it? No Mess
