I want to thank each and everyone of you all for participating in my 50th birthday bounce back bootcamp. When I was a little girl, I used to think the age 50 was so old. This was my state of mind. The years have flown by and now I am officially 50. I could not imagine being any other age. I feel like one of the luckiest girls alive to able to see fifty blessed years, I am healthy, happy, I have peace, love and joy in all aspects of my life.
For many the countdown begins and soon we no longer belong to the 30 something age group. While some may dread crossing the 40 and especially the 50 thresholds, I greeted this milestone with anticipation and open arms. While you cannot turn back the hands of time “turning 50” suggests something exciting! The simple phrase “turning” means you can turn into anything you want to be. It also means you can turn on your passion, turn on your greatness, turn the page, turn the corner, and move on! You are almost halfway through life, but you still have the second half to go. No matter where you are in your life, there are no rules where you should be. At 50 or any age that you are, the doors are wide open ready to let your imagination run free.
In biblical terms the numerical number 50 has significant meaning. Number 50 is a number of Holy Spirit. The ascension of Jesus to heaven is the first fruit among resurrected. In 50 days after the day of Ascension, the Pentecost starts. Number 50 is a symbol of freedom, release and new cycle. I was promised that my latter years would be my best, so I am about to enter the most amazing time in my life, I am buckling my seatbelt and ready to enjoy this ride! The past 50 years were all about preparation. Now I am both credible and incredible. 50 is the pivotal power age for me and here is why:
- I know the Lord for myself
- I am 100% confident in who I am
- I am turning pages and making moves
- I am a woman of my word
- I am a student for life, always ready to learn and grow
- I am thankful for the gift of discernment
- I am grateful for my family and the true meaning of friendship
- I am a woman of grace and integrity
- And I love me some me! Fifty-Fit-Fabulous, that’s me!!!!
