Living is Dreaming

Your dreams are the reason you exist. Your dreams are not coincidence or happenstance. You MUST pursue them! Your dreams provide a sense of meaning and purpose to your life and drive you into YOUR chosen future. Your dreams ARE the meaning of your life! Take your dreams off the shelf! Focus. Strive. Work hard, this is how things were meant to be. Working toward and accomplishing your dreams is God’s way of involving you in his Master Plan.

This week another one of my dreams came true. My No Mess Apparel line is no longer a dream but a reality. Folks will see the apparel line on the shelf or online, but won’t understand what it took to get it there. For years I have been thinking about the clothing line, researching, seeking professional advice from people in the field, and then planning, designing and executing the plan. Without focusing or striving and putting in the hard work my apparel line would still be a dream.

The distance between your dream and reality is called ACTION!

Everyone has goals and dreams.  Dreams make up the essence of who we are as a humans, and the very purpose of our BEING. You were gifted with a set of dreams and talents specific to you, in the hope that you would act out these passions, follow your dreams and move forward in life. It’s really a pity that we are often told in early childhood that we should stop dreaming and start “living.” What a misunderstanding! Living IS Dreaming! This is exactly why we are here: to pursue our dreams! Not for selfish reasons, but for the sake of everybody. By following MY dreams, I am becoming a better person, a happier person, shining brightly like the sun, lighting up the lives of those around me.

So, if dreams are a big part of life, why does it seem to be so difficult to follow them? First, you have an anti-dream-program running in your head, a program installed when you were a kid, telling you that dreams are just that, dreams. Second, your dreams are always outside of your comfort zone. Pursuing your dreams require conscious effort, growth and change; this can feel somewhat uncomfortable in the beginning. You may experience some fears and worries, but this is normal. Don't focus on the fear, focus on the dream. This way the dream becomes more powerful in overcoming the fear. Spending your life in fear and worry surely isn’t part of the Master Plan.

If your dreams appeal more to you than your fears, you will find the energy and courage to move on and conquer them.

Your dreams are your calling, something you HAVE to do to fulfill you. COMMIT yourself to them with your entire being. Express your faith in the Master Plan. Say, "I don't know HOW I will do it, but if I just believe in it and follow my dreams, then the Universe will show me, step by step, how to proceed.” Have faith, take action, and watch what happens.

The more you pursue your dreams, the more exciting your life becomes! God is going to use you in ways you never imagined possible. And the only side effect is, feeling GOOD! Get your dreams off the shelf! Dust them off if you haven’t looked at them in a while and put your goals in front of you and follow them. Focus. Strive. Work hard. This IS what you should be doing, this IS what you are here for! You are here to dream, live your dreams and live it up! This is how things were meant to be. The essence of you is your dream! What have you always been dreaming about, ever since you were a kid? Visualize it, define it, and then go for it! Become happy and share that happiness with the world. No Mess
